Qualification (minimum): Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience (minimum): 10 years experience in major EPC projects and 8 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas Projects as a Senior Process Engineer
Job Description & Responsibilities
Contribute to the Processing Section's operational plans and support their implementation, maintaining production conditions and ensuring production targets are met in terms of quantity and quality to support the achievement of ADOC's objectives.
Perform process simulations using software like Aspen HYSYS to model and optimize oil and gas processing units.
Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other technical documents.
Prepare/modify and document operational/laboratory guidelines, instructions, and manuals in line with literature catalogues & manufacturers manuals and the Company's set technical standards.
Ensure all Processing Section activities are conducted as per set guidelines and procedures, and any irregularities in operations are highlighted to superiors.
Assist the Processing Head in the Processing Section's budgets based on field development, Company's production, and annual/midterm production & maintenance plans related to Utilities facility, and coordinate all related activities in compliance with the approved budgets and timelines.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude.
Competencies/Skills
Well versed in process simulation software HYSYS
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the oil and gas industry.
Project management skills.
Strong understanding of oil and gas processing principles, equipment, and unit operations.
