Job description

Technical Expertise

Core Expertise In Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

Proficiency in building interactive dashboards, pixel-perfect reports, and narrative visualizations using OAS.
Strong understanding of the Oracle BI Repository (RPD):
- Physical Layer
- Business Model and Mapping (BMM) Layer
- Presentation Layer
Experience in configuring row-level and column-level security and implementing user/role-based access controls in OAS.
Mastery of Oracle BI Publisher for creating formatted reports.

Expertise in Data Visualizations

Experience with custom features like map-based visualizations and geo-spatial analytics.

Database Skills

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including:
- Query optimization
- Indexing and partitioning
- Working with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
Familiarity with other databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

Data Warehousing And BI Concepts

Strong understanding of:
- Dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- Fact tables, dimension tables, and aggregates
- ETL processes for loading and transforming data
Experience with data warehousing tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other ETL tools.

Experience Requirements

5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle BI solutions, including OAS or OBIEE.
Experience in:
- End-to-end BI solution development.
- Migrating from Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Integrating OAS with external systems (e.g., APIs, Excel, or third-party BI tools).
