Speedo Swim Squads in Dubai is seeking a Senior Operations Manager.
As the Senior Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Club Director and Management to deliver a high-quality swimming program unique to Speedo Swim Squads across more than 14 venues and a dedicated dynamic coaching and teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Planning and Implementation:
- Lead all operational planning, scheduling, and implementation activities across the Club in close collaboration with the Club Director and Management.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of swim programs, swim terms, camps, venue/staff timetables, bookings, marketing, and promotions.
- Class Timetabling and Staff Scheduling:
- Develop and manage class timetables and staff rosters across all Club venues.
- Balance school and Club requirements with business, financial, and quality performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on revenue generation and cost management.
- Systems and Software Management:
- Ensure all Club-designated templates, systems, and software are maintained, updated, and utilised as required.
- Uphold data accuracy and operational efficiency by keeping these tools current and properly implemented.
- Policies and Procedures:
- Develop, review, and update the Club’s Standard Operating Procedures, processes, policies, and procedures as needed.
- Guarantee consistent compliance and understanding of these guidelines among all staff members.
- Stakeholder Relationship Support:
- Collaborate with ownership and management to maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, venue partners, and other community organisations.
- Staff Communication:
- Distribute schemes of work, timetables, and relevant updates to all staff before the start of new terms, camps, and programs.
- Provide clear, timely instructions and information to ensure staff preparedness.
- Training and Certification Oversight:
- Plan, organise, and deliver internal and external training programs and certification courses.
- Mentor staff to ensure high-quality teaching standards and consistent professional development.
- Event and Gala Management:
- Coordinate and manage swim events, including galas for the Club and external school partners.
- Oversee logistics, scheduling, and staffing to ensure successful and well-organised events.
- Staff Recruitment and Expansion:
- Build and expand the pool of part-time swimming teachers and coaches to support Club growth.
- Ensure a robust, qualified, and motivated teaching team is always available to meet demand.
- Reporting and Quality Assurance:
- Complete all required Club and venue reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure that quality standards are strictly maintained and never compromised.
- Customer Service and Engagement:
- Provide a high level of customer engagement with students and parents, fostering a positive, energetic, and supportive learning environment.
- Address inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Professional Presentation:
- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance at all times.
- Represent the Club’s values and reputation through consistent, courteous, and professional conduct.
