Job Purpose: The Operations Supervisor leads the daily operational functions of the company, ensuring all policies and procedures are strictly followed. This role acts as a key liaison between Operations and other departments and is accountable for the efficient management of the fleet and limo services.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: - Lead daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. - Act as the main point of contact between Operations and other departments for smooth cross-functional communication.
Fleet and Limo Planning: - Oversee daily fleet planning and ensure effective utilization of the vehicles. - Monitor the limo operations and communicate strategies to improve utilization rates with Department Managers.
Training and Development: - Provide formal and informal training to Rental Agents on achieving customer-oriented goals. - Guide agents on promoting additional services such as collision damage waiver, theft protection, fuel purchase options, and vehicle upgrades.
Documentation and Reservations: - Supervise all aspects of rental documentation, including reservations, quotations, and rental extensions. - Ensure all documentation aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting and Analysis: - Assist Department Managers in preparing regular operational reports to track and assess performance. - Monitor fleet utilization and implement strategies to maximize efficiency in consultation with the Department Manager.
Other duties: - Coordinate daily operations across different areas, ensuring efficient collaboration between different teams and locations. - Ensure all operations-related documentation is maintained accurately and complies with company policies and regulatory standards. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager to support overall operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally in the car rental or automotive sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Familiarity with fleet management, rental procedures, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Ability to train and mentor staff for improved customer service and operational efficiency.
