We are currently seeking a Senior OFFSHORE Pipeline Engineer, reporting functionally to HOD -Pipeline and operationally to Pipeline Lead Engineer. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Your main missions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical assistance to Pipeline Discipline Head as and when required, and perform design activities assigned by lead engineer in accordance with standard engineering practices and specific project requirements.
- Co-ordinate with squad team leaders, specialists or vendors.
- Ensure the pipeline deliverables are prepared and checked to meet industrial standards and project requirements, and that design activities are completed within allotted man hours and document deadlines.
- Ensure that all prepared deliverables are properly checked for accuracy and completeness in line with respective checklists prior to passing to lead engineer for final technical scrutiny.
- Provide pipeline inputs to proposals and projects as well as close out reports.
- Participate in developing and ensuring engineering specifications and standards in all phases of the project.
- Ensure final prints of the deliverables are properly documented and available for quality audits.
- Provide assistance and design inputs to lead engineer in project review meetings, vendor meetings, etc.
- Provide design inputs to drafting team and check design parameters in the drawing.
- Coordinate with project team members, specialists or vendors as instructed by lead engineer or Head of Discipline.
- Provide all technical inputs requested by vendors, raise TQs, TBTs, and review vendor documents/drawings.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- A degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Marine/Offshore engineering with extensive experience in offshore pipeline projects.
- Minimum 12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in onshore and/or offshore pipeline projects.
- Significant experience in managing/guiding a team of engineers and designers.
- Familiarity with pipeline design codes and standards such as DNV, API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, NACE, Shell DEP, AGES, ADNOC ONSHORE, ADNOC OFFSHORE standards, etc.
- Past experience working in different phases of projects e.g., Concept, FEED, and EPC.
- Good verbal and written communication skills along with knowledge of presentation tools e.g., MS PowerPoint.
- Well versed in using pipeline software like CAESAR, DNV, Orcaflex, Sage Profile, MathCAD, etc. ABAQUS experience is an added advantage.
- A postgraduate qualification and/or membership in professional bodies is an added advantage.
