Job Description

• Execute work in compliance with the project requirements and the Company’s quality system.
• Review documents including but not limited to calculations, reports, specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
• Development and review of Pipeline drawings including but not limited to alignment sheets, typical detail drawings, station approach drawings, road crossings, etc.
• Procurement support for technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor data review, material and equipment inspections, etc.
• Monitor project man hour requirements during execution, identify variations between contract and proposal, and take corrective action as necessary.
• Create manpower charts for task assignments, establish target completion dates, and ensure target dates are achieved.
• Recommend cost-effective measures to reduce overall costs.
• Assist in monitoring the productivity of engineers and quality of work produced.
• Occasional site visits and surveys.
• Coordinate on technical issues with other Engineering Disciplines as required.
• Provide the necessary input data to other disciplines as per the requirements and procedures.
• Provide guidance for performing calculations as per the relevant pipeline codes and standards.
• Assistance with tender packages including BOQ, tender documents, scope of work, etc.
• Coordinate and monitor interdisciplinary design checks of engineering deliverables.
• Review and integrate comments and inputs of other disciplines into the relevant documents.
• Technical bid evaluations.
• Review of vendor drawings.
• Meet with vendor representatives, inspect vendor works and workshops, and provide assistance to the quality department as required.
• Study work requirements to establish project deliverables list.
• Participate in safety and design review meetings (e.g., HAZOP, HAZID, plot plan) along with client and representatives of other engineering disciplines.
• Interface and provide clarification, guidance, and technical support to construction and commissioning teams as required.
• Participate in the development of less experienced engineers.

• Subsea pipelines and umbilical design basis.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical route selection.
• Subsea pipeline wall thickness design.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical on-bottom stability analysis including additional stabilization measures design.
• Subsea pipelines cathodic protection design.
• Subsea pipelines end expansion calculation.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical free span analysis.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical on-bottom roughness analysis.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical shore approach design.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical dropped object protection studies.
• Subsea pipelines global buckling analysis and walking screening study, including detailed finite element analysis.
• Subsea preliminary pipeline installation analysis.
• Subsea preliminary umbilical installation analysis.
• Subsea pipelines pigging assurance study.
• Preparation of subsea pipelines specifications and material requisitions.
• Preparation of subsea pipelines and umbilical drawings.
• Generation of subsea pipelines and umbilical MTO.
• Conduct site visits and issue site visit reports.
• Subsea pipelines and umbilical route risk assessment & analysis.
• Pipe-soil interaction study based on the geotechnical survey.
• Steady state transient hydraulic analysis report.
• Special studies along with study findings/reports for Company approval covering the below, but not limited to:
• Pipeline pigging assurance study.
• Subsea pipeline scope and analysis.
