This collaboration will bring world-class healthcare services to over three million residents in the UAE’s northern region.

M42 will integrate leading healthcare providers such as the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, ensuring access to specialized, precise, and preventative care. M42 is set to officially commence full-scale operations at Zayed Military Hospital in early 2025.

Job Summary

Join us as a Senior Officer in Procurement, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless procurement of essential supplies that support the Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. As part of our dedicated Procurement and Supply Chain teams, you’ll manage the procurement lifecycle, optimize purchasing processes, and foster strong supplier relationships to keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

1. Procurement Management: Lead end-to-end procurement, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchases.
2. Sourcing & Orders: Oversee sourcing, approve orders, and coordinate with inventory to maintain stock levels.
3. Cost Control & Negotiations: Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure value without compromising quality.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Align purchasing with departmental needs (clinical, operations, finance).
5. Supplier Relations: Act as the main contact for suppliers, resolving quality, delivery, and invoice issues.
6. Compliance: Ensure procurement meets healthcare standards (e.g., DHA, DOH, ISO).
7. Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and manage procurement risks.
8. Inventory Support: Oversee inventory and warehouse management.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MSc & CIPS certification is a plus.
2. Experience: 5+ years in procurement in a hospital and pharma background.
3. Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills; Excel proficiency; team-oriented with excellent organization.
4. Technology: Oracle Fusion, SAP, and advanced Excel skills essential.
