Major Duties And Responsibilities

1. Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of network hardware, including routers, switches, servers, and telecommunications equipment.
2. Provide technical support for network operating systems and software applications, troubleshooting issues related to connectivity, security, and performance.
3. Configure, manage, and maintain network security systems including firewalls, End Point Protection system to protect network integrity.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including network outages, slow performance, and configuration errors.
5. Maintain and update network diagrams, technical documentation, and asset management registers, including user account management, equipment, and software distribution.
6. Conduct regular network audits and physical inventory of IT assets to ensure accuracy of network and hardware.
7. Support network integration, functional testing, and ensure all systems are running optimally across various environments.
8. Maintain a clean and organized network infrastructure, ensuring that network equipment and server rooms are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
9. Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all company data and documents.
10. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure all network-related policies and procedures are followed, contributing to team objectives and IT strategy.
11. Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and operational standards in network and IT systems.
12. Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, IT and Digitalization.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school diploma is required, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of two years of experience providing IT customer support to computer users in an office environment is required.
3. Certifications in any of the following are highly desired; CCNA, Network +.
4. The ability to work analytically and independently, as well as within a team is preferred.
5. The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technical environment is an advantage.
6. An ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
7. Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
