Job Title: Mid-level to Senior .NET Full-Stack Developer

About the Role:

Gantner GmbH (Dubai branch) is searching for an excellent Mid-level to Senior .NET full-stack developer to join our development team in the Dubai office.

As a full-stack developer, you will join a multi-skilled team, working side by side with developers, product managers, QA, and support engineers to ensure a consistently top-class product is delivered to our customers in a scalable way.

Responsibilities:

1. Coding across the full stack – front-end Web UI (AngularJS), middle-tier service layer, and backend database.
2. Perform requirement analysis, software design, and unit testing.
3. Work in a cross-functional team setting, collaborating closely with fellow developers, QA, and stakeholders (both internal and external).
4. Troubleshoot and support application deployments.
5. Ensure quality through adherence to industry coding standards and best practices.
6. Support and maintain existing Microsoft SQL server-based applications with experience designing, implementing, and maintaining moderately complex databases.
7. Assess requirements, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations for new software, tools, and emerging technologies.
8. Work with Senior and Junior developers to maintain and improve existing web applications and create new ones.
9. Participate in biweekly sprint cycles using the Agile software development methodology.
10. Solid project management skills and ability to multitask for multiple projects and priorities required.
11. Work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

1. 5-8 years’ job experience using a variety of front-end and back-end technologies.
2. Experience with C#, MVC, and WCF with .NET Framework 4.*
3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the concepts of OOP.
4. Experience with AngularJS and Angular 2+.
5. Experience with relational database design.
6. Experience with Visual Studio and TFS.
7. Experience with third-party API integration.
8. Experience with IIS/Windows Server 2008+ management.
9. Excellent communication skills and strong analytic and problem-solving skills are required.
