Senior Mortgage Advisor

Responsibilities

1. Provide expert mortgage advice to clients on various loan products and options.
2. Analyze financial information to determine the feasibility and suitability of mortgage applications.
3. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and promptly.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending policies, regulations, and market trends.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other key contacts in the industry.
6. Collaborate with underwriters and processors to expedite the closing process for clients.
7. Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products or services to meet clients' financial needs.
8. Meet performance targets in terms of loan volume, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
9. Stay informed about changes in interest rates, loan programs, and industry trends to advise clients accordingly.
10. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage advising or banking industry.
3. Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Accreditation such as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License preferred.
