Senior Merchandise Planner

Job Summary:

As a Senior Merchandise Planner, you will be responsible for developing and executing merchandise plans that align with company goals. You will analyze sales trends, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial and inventory plans for assigned merchandise categories.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Partner with buyers and cross-functional teams to create seasonal assortment strategies.
• Monitor sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities to adjust plans accordingly.
• Lead the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process, ensuring optimal stock levels and profitability.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to manage product flow and allocation.
• Prepare reports and presentations on merchandise performance for senior leadership.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior planners and analysts.

Qualifications & Experience:

️ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or a related field.

️ 2+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or financial analysis, preferably in retail or e-commerce.

️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

️ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.

️Power BI experience.
