The Senior MEP Engineer will lead the design review coordination and implementation of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects. This role involves overseeing the integration of MEP systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing technical expertise to project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage MEP engineering projects from planning through to execution ensuring timely and within budget delivery.
Design and Coordination: Review detailed mechanical designs specifications and plans for HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.
Supervision: Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of MEP systems ensuring they meet project requirements and safety standards.
Quality Control: Ensure all MEP work complies with relevant codes standards and regulations.
Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams clients and contractors.
Documentation: Prepare and review technical drawings reports and documentation.
Client Interaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior MEP engineers fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with the company’s Health Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years of experience in MEP engineering with a focus on mechanical systems in construction projects.
Skills:
Strong project management skills proficiency in MEP design software excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Certifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
