Senior Mechanical QC Engineer

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Mechanical QC Engineer (Senior) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

What you will need to do:

1. Assist in the preparation of quality documentation including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Mechanical works.
2. Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Mechanical works, particularly issues of design, procurement, construction, and final handover.
3. Monitor the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to Mechanical works and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner in their area of assigned responsibility.
4. Manage the inspection and testing of Mechanical works in their area of assigned responsibilities, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.
5. Monitor the closeout of punch lists established for incomplete related to Mechanical works.
6. Monitor all measurement & testing instruments employed for Mechanical works to ensure they are functional and calibrated.
7. Liaise and coordinate with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Companies as required related to Mechanical works.
8. Conduct statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to Mechanical works.
9. Prepare files and maintain test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to Mechanical works.
10. Assist construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual nonconformances related to Mechanical works.
11. Advise the QC Manager of nonconformance occurrences and, where necessary, raise a Nonconformance Report for noncompliant work and monitor the closeout and effectiveness of the correction and corrective action undertaken.
12. Assist the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of subcontractors and suppliers, particularly technical compliance audits in their field of specialization.
13. Assist in the preparation of final documents for certification as required.
14. Assist in the systems commissioning as required.

What you will need to have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
2. 15 years of related experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage) in EPC projects.
3. ISO 9001 Internal auditor certification.
4. ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
5. CSWIP 3.2 certification.
6. Hands-on experience in welding, NDT, and coating & painting.
7. Good command in Project Quality auditing.
8. O&G Projects experience.

3. Has excellent organizational skills.
