Senior Mechanical Engineer

Leading medium-sized projects with a focus on mechanical and electrical installations such as HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.

Client-facing role, providing advice and making decisions on project progress.

Designing and validating engineering systems to meet robust industry and legal standards.

Overseeing and mentoring trainee, graduate, and junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading medium-sized projects with a focus on mechanical and electrical installations such as HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
• Client-facing role, providing advice and making decisions on project progress.
• Designing and validating engineering systems to meet robust industry and legal standards.
• Overseeing and mentoring trainee, graduate, and junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• A degree (BEng, MSc) with 5 to 10 years of experience in design or contracting roles.
• Working towards Chartered/Professional Engineer status.
• Strong knowledge in design specifications, health and safety legislation, and BS standards.
• Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy.
