Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Manage and supervise mechanical installation activities on construction sites.
2. Review mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements.
3. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of mechanical systems.
4. Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify adherence to design intent and specifications.
5. Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance project performance.
6. Prepare progress reports, technical documents, and construction schedules.
7. Monitor budgetary constraints and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
8. Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development within the team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (10+ years) in mechanical engineering, with a focus on site operations and construction projects.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
5. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
7. Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards in the UAE.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
