Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Define Mechanical Building Services Engineering strategies and undertake feasibility works across numerous project types in the Middle East.
2. Ensure that the team delivers high-quality Building Services Engineering designs on time by taking a hands-on, technically focused approach. Knowledge of all MEP disciplines is key for successful coordination. A good understanding of structural and architectural disciplines is advantageous.
3. Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
4. Act as the key point of contact on projects, comfortable directly engaging with clients and delivering presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Undertake project reviews and checking in accordance with QA/QC procedures.
6. Ensure that sustainable principles are embedded in all designs of mechanical services on projects.
7. Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
8. Ensure the right resources are utilized effectively at the right time across the team and projects, including engaging with the GDC (Global Design Centre) to ensure that communication and design processes are continually improved.
