Senior Mechanic

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanic (Heavy Vehicles) to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty vehicles including trucks, buses, and construction equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems. Candidates with a UAE driving license will be preferred.

• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy vehicles.
• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and minimize breakdowns.
• Work with specialized tools, diagnostic software, and repair manuals to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain service records and ensure all repairs comply with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support to junior mechanics and assist in training where necessary.
• Follow workshop safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Coordinate with supervisors and fleet managers for vehicle inspections and necessary approvals.

• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Education: Diploma or Certification in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical diagnostics.
• License: UAE driving license preferred.
• Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Work Ethics: Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Language: Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.

• Experience working with fleet management or in transport/construction industries.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and computerized vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of UAE road and vehicle regulations.
