Senior Manager Projects

We are recruiting a Sr. Manager Projects for one of our clients based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and representative for the developer during the construction phase of projects.
• Act as a liaison between the developer, consultant team, and contractor, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety onsite, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues, discrepancies, or potential risks and provide timely resolutions or recommendations.
• Coordinate with the consultant team to address design changes, modifications, and any unforeseen challenges during construction.
• Collaborate with the contractor to resolve technical queries, clarifications, and conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.
• Prepare progress reports, site visit reports, and other documentation as required by the developer, collaborating with the consultant team.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the consultant, contractor, and project team as needed.
• Attend project meetings, site visits, and inspections as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry covering both interiors and civil works.
• Experience with UAE developers in high-rise residential and commercial towers is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Projects and Primavera is required.
• Working knowledge of ACAD is preferred.
