The Senior Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions at 7X Group is responsible for overseeing M&A deal execution, managing partnerships, and leading integration efforts. This role provides strategic insights and recommendations to the Senior Director, directly impacting the Group's M&A strategy and growth objectives. The Senior Manager serves as a key liaison between junior team members and the Senior Director, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Strategy, Policies & Procedures
Strategic Deal Origination and Pipeline Management:
Identify high-value acquisition targets using market insights and partnerships.
Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the viability of potential acquisitions.
Evaluate the strategic fit and financial impact of potential deals, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
Identify potential risks and synergies in M&A transactions and recommend mitigation strategies.
Drive pipeline growth to ensure alignment with 7X Group's long-term strategic objectives, coordinating closely with the Senior Director.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard communications procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Deal with sensitive and confidential information to protect the interest of the Group and subsidiaries.
Transaction Structuring and Execution
Lead transaction structuring, including valuation, negotiations, and contract development, to secure favorable terms for the Group.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and other stakeholders to execute transactions that align with the Group's financial and strategic objectives.
Growth & Investment Planning
Oversee and track strategic partnerships, ensuring that partnerships align with 7X Group's investment objectives and growth strategy.
Maintain a comprehensive partnership log to track outcomes, evolution and milestones, providing regular updates to the Senior Director.
Develop and execute post-acquisition integration plans, working across functions (HR, finance, IT) to ensure seamless alignment with corporate objectives.
Monitor and evaluate integration milestones and escalate issues to the Senior Director, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate and maintain relationships with external advisors, investment partners and internal teams, representing 7X Group's interests and strategy.
Regularly update the Senior Director and executive team on deal status, partnership progress and emerging risks.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Continuously track and evaluate M&A activities and partnerships against KPIs, providing insights to the Senior Director for strategic adjustments.
Generate reports and strategic recommendations based on transaction performance, partnership outcomes, and market conditions.

Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics or Business Administration with CFA, CISI or equivalent certification.
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in investment firms with expertise in interacting with investors and broad knowledge of global capital markets and macro-economic issues affecting investment, design and delivery of investment products.
