Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Manager MEP (Emiratis Only) at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Key Accountabilities:

• Provides technical assistance to Facilities Managers in areas such as facilities audits and standards, preventive maintenance, and space utilization.
• Investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises.
• Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
• Directing, coordinating, and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and recycling.
• Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
• Makes recommendations regarding facilities policy in daily activities as well as long-range management areas.
• Supervises the implementation of procedures.
• Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
• Foster goal achievement, team building, communication, and overall performance in all operations areas and across departments.
• Manage projects to ensure that they are on time and within approved budgets.
• Lead in the evaluation and selection of contractors as warranted by the project.
• Provide overall direction and leadership for the corporate operation and management of facilities services as well as EH&S to meet organizational goals and objectives.
• Ensure the company is in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements as they relate to environmental health and safety.
• Oversee the development of health and safety procedures as they relate to waste management and building safety.
• Oversee facilities operations and EH&S audits.
• Interface and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the development of cross-departmental work.
• Develop staff and manage performance to ensure the organization is effective and poised to strategically meet the needs of the business.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions.
• Responsible for directing, supervising, and monitoring the activities of DPR FM personnel on a day-to-day basis, including training, developing, and coaching these staff members.
• Monitor each Facilities Manager's Zone operation to ensure compliance with lease conditions, budgetary goals, governmental regulations, and Property Management User Agreement requirements.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Should be Emirati with UAE Family Book
• Should have minimum 3 years of Facility Management Experience in a managerial position
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and environmental health and safety standards.
• Experience in Contractor and Vendor Management
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
