Senior Manager Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification activities of instrument & control equipment and systems in the plant to ensure safe and efficient services.
2. Review preventive maintenance plans/schedules and prepare task lists/maintenance programmes for instrument and control systems and equipment in the plant, supervising the execution of such programmes.
3. Diagnose, analyze, and carry out root cause failure analysis; highlight reasons for equipment failure and advise on remedial measures. Study and carry out residual life assessment of critical instrument and control equipment and suggest corrective action.
4. Provide guidance and advice on actions to be taken on chronic problems; review requirements for major repairs and spare replacements to ensure that all equipment and systems are in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standards.
5. Participate in Risk Assessment exercises and prepare recommendations and guidelines to address the findings.
6. Ensure availability of spares; coordinate and follow up on new material orders. Create new proposals for stocking spares (PFS) mainly for new equipment; create item change requests, spare parts control, and delete unwanted inventories from the stock.
7. Prepare new maintenance procedures and method statements for new activities; schedule long-term activities as per plant shutdown schedules.
8. Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and sections to optimize the utilization of section manpower and to plan and control major & minor shutdown activities and expenditures.
9. Provide technical support for the development, implementation, and commissioning of new projects in the design and specifications to optimize costs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
10. Prepare new plant change requests (PCR); study the proposed PCR for implementation and work out plans and schedules for implementing them.
