Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Provide support to the Company CEO to manage the design and implementation of programs and initiatives in order to drive improved business, client focus, financial and service delivery performance as well as engage the stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities – Senior Manager - Business Management:

  • Lead and manage high-impact special projects, delivering comprehensive solutions from initiation to completion including spearheading key tasks like due diligence, historical and current document review, commercial assessments, negotiations, and contract review.
  • Identify opportunities that will support the Company in meeting/exceeding targets across each of the Company scorecard metrics.
  • Roll-out activities that will support the Company in meeting/exceeding targets to relevant stakeholders and monitor stakeholder activity/progress to ensure that targets are met/exceeded.
  • Identify issues/challenges to the Company CEO in conjunction with the various chief officers for targets that are at risk of not being met.
  • Manage large-scale land transactions (typically range from AED 100 million to AED 2 billion), ensuring smooth execution.
  • Oversee and finalize settlements (generally upward of AED 50 million) for major investors.
  • Facilitate efficient resolutions involving various stakeholders, including obtaining decrees and navigating Dubai Municipality matters.
  • Serve as the link between various internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present approval documentation to Company and senior management.
  • Manage key relationships with Company and its verticals' internal and external stakeholders for the coordination of business unit-related programs, processes, and initiatives related work in order to ensure that these relationships continuously serve the best interests and support the achievement of the strategy.
  • Present relevant Company-related information to the Group CEO and CFO as required.
  • Identify issues/challenges to the Company CEO on the opportunities that cannot be concluded.
  • Manage key submissions to DH senior management on Company-related matters (land swaps, government-related matters, infrastructure issues, JV partner issues, etc.) including approval requests and matters that highlight key issues/challenges within the Company.
  • Design and oversee the delivery of priority projects and initiatives of the business unit and represent the business unit in project steering committees as required in order to ensure delivery of client focus, engagement, and service excellence agenda at Dubai Holding Real Estate and its verticals as well as ensure continuous improvement and enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Min. 6-8 years of experience with at least 4 years’ experience in a senior role in the field of finance, fund or investment management with a real estate focus.
  • Experience in corporate finance, investments, valuation and real estate, preferably in Dubai.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic and performance driven environment.
  • Graduate in Finance/Economics / CFA / MBA Finance
  • Knowledge in corporate finance, valuations, and management planning. Strong understanding of the Dubai real estate industry and overall economic trends.
  • Knowledge of Estate Master and Argus software for real estate valuations and feasibilities.
  • Ability to understand and ensure long term sustainability of the businesses.
  • Understand the dynamic nature of the Real Estate market environment in the UAE.
  • Able to detect the changing business environment internally and externally to advance the company’s knowledge and expertise in real estate.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with numerous stakeholders across the company and group.
  • Ability to work with real estate and finance related issues.
  • Strong communication, work ethic and presentation skills.
  • Seeks to innovate in order to maximize value to overall project and the company.
  • Ability to establish strategy, implementation planning and execution of concepts and initiatives in conjunction with strategic partners and external stakeholders.
