Build strong relationships within the allocated Region to identify global opportunities and attract new trade and investment to the GCC Region and its business units, mainly targeting International Manufacturing Companies.
Execute the BD plan seeking new business opportunities for all DP World BUs, contributing towards our business development & sales efforts.
Assist and contribute to Business Development:
Identify business opportunities in line with DP World GCC Region strategy.
Develop a portfolio of accounts to offer a range of tailored solutions.
Screen potential new business opportunities by conducting initial commercial feasibility studies and financial analyses.
Prepare presentations to management and recommendations for approvals.
Conduct analysis on business opportunities, highlighting areas of concern for discussion and decision-making with management.
Compile and provide analytical reports on business prospects for the GCC region from international companies, including industry types and leading commodities.
Tender Management:
Drive the RFI response if required by sales, reviewing tender documents in detail.
Drive procurement of relevant services offered to customers.
Calculate profit estimates per service component for management sign-off.
Define and drive project plans for tenders, communicating with stakeholders.
Customer Acquisition: Identify new business prospects and maintain a sales pipeline, following up on new leads to closure.
Conduct regular visits to customers in targeted businesses.
Prepare and maintain Target Account Plans (TAPs) for monthly and quarterly review with management.
Establish customer relationships by hosting social and informal meetings for customer satisfaction.
Maintain relations with embassies, their consulates, and business attaches in the UAE and outside.
Perform additional assignments and projects as requested by management.
