We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager - Aviation to join our Aviation team in Abu Dhabi.
Scope
Overall responsibility for the client portfolio for revenue delivery, account management and enhancing and optimizing operational excellence across the assigned customer account portfolio. The individual will be responsible for delivering the targeted revenue and gross contribution, project managing client mobilizations, day-to-day delivery of operations, contribute to the growth of account portfolio as well as manage a team of individuals. There will also be involvement in new business tenders we receive from aviation clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop the business growth of the account portfolio, through new business and organic growth, assuming full commercial responsibility.
- Implicitly understand the commercial aspects of the contracts and monitor the management of the service to ensure delivery within the boundaries of the contracts and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and achieving the operational SLA and commercial KPIs.
- Ensure customer account portfolio are delivering to budgeted targets, revenue, and gross contributions, contributing to the department P&L, accurate reporting for forecasting and revenue is maximized.
- Ensure the Account Team understand the commercial agreement and manage the service delivery within the timelines and deliverables of the contract.
- Ensure all contracts are always commercially bound and provide clear direction on contract renewals identifying and securing preferred commercial terms.
- Working closely with the legal and commercial teams to provide clear direction on actions throughout the term of contract relating to any breach and actions required to remedy.
- Responsible for management monthly report with operational data to support the review of the financial performance of the contract scorecard.
Customer
- Proactively manage the relationship with the client in line with the RACI matrix under the guidance of the Account Manager.
- Manage the key contacts and relationship within your account portfolio, ensuring the account is fully managed and relationships are developed at every level.
- Provide ideas on growth initiatives to maximize the potential opportunities with new clients and contacts.
- Ensure all commercials are within the bounds of the contracts and billing accurately reflects all terms and conditions.
- Effective debtor management across the Account Portfolio ensuring risk profiles are fully secured with all clients and decisive actions are taken where necessary to protect the business.
Process
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current inefficiencies and create improved processes.
- Measure, validate, and test the effectiveness of metrics that are applied by the business to assess and drive productivity optimization.
- Develop programs and methods that aid in the achievement of measurable improvements in metric results and which avail actionable people management solutions and strategies.
- Responsible for Management Reporting, the collation of reports for MPR and Control Rooms.
- Operational Excellence: Drive a lean culture within the team, focused on operational excellence and business performance.
- Ensure direct reports are focused on value-added activity, working towards achieving the goals on the balanced score cards.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate and develop the team members reporting directly to you and influence the positive behaviour of the wider team.
- Fully understand the bid/quote request documents to become familiar and well-versed with the requirements & scope of work. Develop a plan of action around the deadlines to ensure that solutions are completed on time and in line with RFP requirements providing the business maximum chances of winning the project.
- Review the asset list, BOQ; drawings to understand the magnitude of the scope of work along with the scope falling under the specialist service providers.
- Prepare a complete solution strategy/process including complete lifecycle starting from receiving tenders to successful closeout.
- Work with key members of the other business units and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the proposals.
- Lead the solutions team to ensure they gather the right information including site visit required to develop a site-specific solution with special attention to technology and providing efficient solution to the client. Generate site visit reports which detail the findings during the visit and enumerate any request for information to be submitted to the client.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience is required.
- Minimum educational requirements (University Degree minimum).
