Senior Maintenance Engineer

What you'll do

• Responsible for the construction effort through the supervision of civil, plumbing, HVAC & Electrical subcontractors, and site engineers in assigned area of project.
• Coordinates subcontractor activities to ensure orderly and efficient completion of work.
• Provide support to H&S Officers on the site to ensure the total safety of the working environment. Ensures subcontractors compliance with HSE and QA/QC Plans.
• Assist the Senior Manager in various operational aspects, strategic initiatives, and the formulation of development plans aimed at enhancing business performance.
• Lead technical projects in operations, including installation, commissioning, measurement, and verification, to achieve optimal results.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, emergency crisis activities, checklists, and procedures to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of MEP systems.
• Establish and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for MEP systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Oversee the FM Operation Capex and Opex budgets and develop innovative programs to enhance the cost-effectiveness of assets.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, warranties and AMC's.
• Knowledge of local Authority codes (DM, DEWA and DCD) and industry standards for the MEP works.

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or related Engineering field having Project Management / Facility Management knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant local building codes and regulations.
• Certification in relevant MEP systems or building management is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCad.
