Salary: between 8000 AED to 12000 AED (based on Experience)

Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Senior Logistics and Document Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistical aspects of the supply chain, managing local purchases, and ensuring efficient document management. This role involves managing the movement of goods, materials, and equipment, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and handling procurement activities to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Management:
   • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials.
   • Manage and track inventory, ensuring that stock is ordered, stored, and distributed as needed.
   • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to arrange shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
   • Plan and implement logistical strategies to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
2. Document Control:
   • Maintain and manage all project-related documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity of information.
   • Develop and implement document control processes and systems to ensure efficient document retrieval and storage.
   • Ensure that all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Track and manage document revisions, ensuring that the latest versions are available and obsolete documents are archived.
   • Coordinate with various departments to ensure that all required documents are submitted, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner.
3. Local Purchases:
   • Manage local procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services from local suppliers.
   • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
   • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.
   • Ensure all local purchases comply with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
   • Maintain accurate records of all local purchase transactions and ensure timely payment of invoices.
4. Communication and Coordination:
   • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics, local purchases, and documentation activities with project timelines and objectives.
   • Provide regular updates and reports on logistics, local purchases, and document control activities to management and relevant stakeholders.
   • Handle any discrepancies or issues related to logistics, local purchases, and documentation, working to resolve them promptly and effectively.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
   • Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, local purchases, and document control, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
   • Ensure that all document control records are up-to-date and easily accessible for audits and reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10 years proven experience in logistics management, document control, and local procurement, preferably within a similar industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, document management systems, and procurement tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to logistics, document control, and local purchases.
