Senior Logistics Executive (GCC Cross Border - Door to Door Cargo)

Effectively conduct day-to-day operations of Door-to-Door logistics function by managing customer enquiry, follow-up, goods receiving, load handling, delivery tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Register, respond and make follow-up to customer enquiries promptly to close the enquiry positively.
• Ensure legal compliance of new customers and update customer database as per documents obtained from them.
• Receive goods, inspect items against invoice, and ensure proper warehouse coordination for safe storage, load planning and quick cargo dispatch.
• Prepare export documentation with proper HS Codes/Approved categories, etc. and prepare daily packing list of shipments.
• Ensure items received are in order against the invoice and prepare documentation for land shipment.
• Monitor cargo movements regularly, identify problems early and report issues to Supervisors.
• Coordinate the preparation of invoices and collection of payments from the customers without delay.
• Close jobs on time by completing any pending issues, deliveries and disputes.
• Ensure proper records are kept for all jobs such as materials given, CR Number, packages and driver details in ERP system.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Academic / Professional Qualification:
• Graduate in any discipline.
• A Diploma in Logistics Operations is desirable.
• Job Experience:
• 3-4 years experience in logistics operations.
• GCC Cross Border Land Based Cargo operations experience.
