Senior Lawyer - Litigation Job Responsibilities

1. Case Evaluation: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of legal matters to determine the merits of a case, assess potential risks, and provide clients with an informed assessment of their legal position.
2. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their objectives, gather relevant information, and develop a comprehensive litigation strategy. Provide legal advice and guidance on potential outcomes, options, and alternatives.
3. Legal Research: Conduct extensive legal research to identify relevant laws, regulations, legal precedents, and other factors that may impact the case. Stay updated with changes in legislation and judicial decisions that may affect ongoing litigation.
4. Document Preparation: Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests, and other necessary legal filings. Ensure all documents comply with court rules, procedures, and deadlines.
5. Discovery Process: Manage the discovery phase of litigation, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for documents, and other discovery requests. Analyze and review documents, evidence, and witness statements to build a strong case.
6. Court Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings. Present arguments, examine witnesses, cross-examine opposing witnesses, and make persuasive oral arguments to support the client's position.
