Senior Lawyer - Commercial Transactions

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Lawyer to join the Commercial Transactions department. As a Commercial Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters to the clients. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of UAE laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support to clients on commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
2. Advising on all commercial contracts including those covering sales and distribution, franchising, commercial representation, import and export regulations, manufacturing, marketing, service provisions, and online term and conditions for mobile applications or desktop websites.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial and corporate law issues and provide recommendations to clients.
4. Work closely with colleagues specializing in taxation, banking, and insurance to develop innovative strategies to fund and support tax-advantageous investments in the international market.
5. Advise clients on commercial transaction matters. Experience with data protection is a plus.
6. Stay updated on changes in commercial transactional laws and regulations in UAE and provide guidance to clients accordingly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university. Admission to the UAE, UK, or European Bar Association. Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in transactional law, preferably in a reputable law firm or commercial transactional department with 3 years of experience working in Dubai. Strong understanding of UAE commercial transaction laws and regulations. Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in English language, Arabic is a plus.
