Senior Landscaping Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to lead and manage landscape design projects for high-end mixed-use developments and premium private villas and residences. The ideal candidate will combine creative design expertise, technical proficiency, and exceptional client relationship management skills to deliver outstanding landscape solutions. Apprenticeship experience with a reputed designer and fluency in English and Arabic will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Project Management

• Lead the conceptualization, design development, and execution of landscape projects for luxury residential and mixed-use developments.
• Develop innovative landscape designs that align with the client's vision and project goals.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Client Presentations and Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their vision is reflected in all design stages.
• Deliver compelling client presentations, effectively communicating design concepts, material selections, and project progress.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, addressing concerns and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration and Team Leadership

• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate landscape designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the design team.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the design intent is upheld during project implementation.

Technical Expertise

• Prepare detailed construction drawings, material palettes, and specifications that meet aesthetic and functional objectives.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and materials in landscape architecture to introduce innovative ideas to projects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning codes, and environmental sustainability standards.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on high-end mixed-use developments and luxury residential projects.
• Apprenticeship: Experience apprenticing with a reputed designer is highly desirable.
• Design Skills: A strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs and successful delivery of high-end landscape projects.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic are essential for client presentations and stakeholder collaboration.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software. Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities. A collaborative mindset with attention to detail.
• Regional Travel: Willingness and ability to travel within the region for project-related needs.
