Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our innovative design studio, you will lead and contribute to a wide range of high-profile landscape architecture projects in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the creation of conceptual designs, construction drawings, and specifications for diverse landscape projects.
• Manage project teams and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental conditions to inform design decisions.
• Create sustainable and culturally appropriate landscape designs that thrive in Dubai's hot climate.
• Prepare detailed planting plans, irrigation designs, and material specifications.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality control measures.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the landscape architecture practice.
• Participate in business development activities including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and local regulations to ensure innovative and compliant designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture with a focus on projects in urban environments.
• Valid landscape architect license; local certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of plant species suitable for arid climates and sustainable irrigation practices.
• Experience in developing technical proposals, cost estimates, and managing projects.
• Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainable design practices in the UAE.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
