Job Title: Senior Accountant

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and timely.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare and review cost accounting reports related to manufacturing processes, inventory, and cost variances.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior accounting staff.
• Prepare reports for management, including variance analysis and key financial metrics.
• Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and resolve any identified issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
