Senior IT Asset Manager

I am looking for a Senior IT Asset Manager to take the reins of my clients IT asset portfolio, managing everything from procurement to retirement. You ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the strategic use, tracking, and lifecycle optimization of our hardware, software, end-user equipment, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute IT asset management strategies across hardware, software, and infrastructure.
2. Maintain accurate records and inventory of all IT assets and ensure lifecycle tracking.
3. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and internal standards.
4. Collaborate with IT, procurement, and other stakeholders to align asset planning with organizational goals.
5. Lead the development of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
6. Provide actionable reports and insights to senior leadership.
7. Oversee procurement, vendor engagement, and cost forecasting for IT assets.
8. Train internal teams on asset management systems, tools, and processes.
9. Ensure secure and compliant disposal of outdated or decommissioned equipment.

What You Bring:

1. 6-8 years of IT asset management experience (with at least 2 years in a leadership role).
2. Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of ITAM principles, software licensing, and audit procedures.
4. Proficiency in asset management tools and systems.
5. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
7. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security practices, and network environments.
