Senior HVAC Designer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for drafting and detailing of HVAC related works.
• Responsible for engineering of the assigned HVAC drawings/tasks.
• Draft as per inputs and check General Arrangement and Detail Drawings.
• Report to Lead Civil Designer, Lead Civil Engineer, or Lead HVAC Engineer.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project team to meet project schedules on submissions of HVAC deliverables.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with quality as per Wood and client specifications and standards.
• Interpret vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for HVAC deliverables requirements.
• Hands-on experience with SP3D modeling for HVAC.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or drafting discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with other disciplines.
• Willing to handle work pressure and changes with patience.
• Must be able to work in a team with a work-share basis.
• Must have experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD software.
• Experience in at least one Oil and Gas project in HVAC services, with sound technical knowledge in HVAC detail engineering and drafting using relevant codes and standards.
