Our Middle East branch is actively seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our UAE team and advance their career. The successful candidate must have:

Technical Roles and Responsibilities

• Educational Background: A bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing HVAC for various applications and a proven track record of successfully completed HVAC engineering projects.
• BMS experience is a must.
• Proficiency in HVAC modeling software and tools including Revit, AutoCAD, IES & HAP.
• Experience in Life Sciences, including pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities.
• Experienced in delivering HVAC design, producing ventilation system design deliverables, Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFDs), Basis of Design (BoD), Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating/Cooling/Fan Sizing), Control Philosophy.
• In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, pipe flow, pump selection, and chilled water system design.
• Knowledge of local and international codes and standards related to HVAC engineering.
• Experience ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
• Commercially Aware: Demonstrates working knowledge of external forces impacting GHD; financial, market, economic, legal, and regulatory environments and how GHD responds to them commercially.
