Educational Background: A bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing HVAC for various applications and a proven track record of successfully completed HVAC engineering projects.
BMS Experience: BMS experience is a must.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in HVAC modeling software and tools including Revit, Autocad, IES & HAP.
Industry Experience: Experience in Life Sciences, including pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities.
HVAC Design Delivery: Experienced in delivering HVAC design, producing ventilation system design deliverables, i.e., Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFD’s), Basis of Design (BoD), Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating / Cooling / Fan Sizing), Control Philosophy.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, pipe flow, pump selection, and chilled water system design.
Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local and international codes and standards related to HVAC engineering.
Compliance Experience: Experience ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
Report Writing: Report writing expertise.
Commercial Awareness: Demonstrates working knowledge of external forces impacting GHD; financial, market, economic, legal and regulatory environments and how GHD responds to them commercially.
Agile Learner: Actively learns through experimentation and experience and seeks ways to grow and to be challenged by new and novel conditions.
