Job description

The Senior HR Business Partner oversees HR functions in-store, including talent acquisition, talent development, talent performance, and total rewards. He/she collaborates with business stakeholders to optimize all aspects of human resources, ensuring a productive and efficient in-store workforce.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure continuous compliance with company policies and procedures, including the code of conduct, employee handbook, uniform standards, working hours, and staff facilities.
  2. Provide advice and guidance to managers on developing, documenting, and communicating solutions, including disciplinary actions, for individual Employee Relations cases.
  3. Advise managers on effectively developing and leading teams, ensuring employees possess the skills required to meet both current and future business needs.
  4. Support employees and managers throughout the performance review cycle, manage the appraisal system, and communicate employees' learning needs and training requirements to the talent development department.
  5. Adhere to the organization's Health and Safety protocols to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the protection of the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
  6. Conduct exit interviews, manage transfers and relocations, and maintain thorough and accurate documentation throughout the process.
  7. Contribute to succession planning initiatives by conducting detailed operational analysis of workforce trends.
  8. Develop succession plans to enhance the internal talent pool and expedite the filling of critical positions.
  9. Implement targeted training programs in specific areas using prepared content.
  10. Work on attracting, shortlisting, selecting, and appointing suitable candidates within an organization.
  11. Ensure the effective hiring and seamless integration of new employees into the organization.
  12. Deliver advanced analyses of HR data, identifying pivotal trends, and contributing to the creation of HR insights that facilitate diagnosing business issues, enhancing employee engagement, and improving business performance.
  13. Implement and maintain the optimal staff structure based on store requirements and productivity goals.
  14. Coordinate the allocation of budgeted hours and headcount, ensuring compliance with relevant local laws and regulations.
  15. Ensure consistent implementation of employee activities, gatherings, and engagement programs.
  16. Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  17. Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.
  18. Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
  19. Provides constructive feedback and other support for other people's development.
  20. Assumes personal ownership and responsibility when confronted or challenged; shows readiness to learn and to resolve issues.

Job Specifications

  1. Fluency in English
  2. Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  5. Four to six years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
