Senior HSE Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and ensure that the company HSEMS framework fulfills the requirements of ADNOC HSE standards.
2. Ensure training resources are available covering all topics in Company HSEMS Framework.
3. Responsible for implementing Company HSEMS Framework within the allocated resources.
4. Analyse, update, and implement the Company HSEMS Framework.
5. Develop and communicate a comprehensive internal procedure for implementing the requirements of company HSEMS Framework covering all employees and activities including those by the Contractors.
6. Compliance monitoring and assurance for all Contractors HSEMS implementation, inline with Company and ADNOC HSE Standards.
7. Participate, organise, and lead in monitoring the workplace through various HSE walkthroughs/inspections.
8. Lead and participate in the HSEIA/HSE Studies and assure the studies outcomes are conducted in accordance with ADNOC standards for facilities (both existing as well as new) including projects.
9. Prepare and conduct HSE programs to enhance the HSE culture in the company such as campaigns/awareness, etc.
10. Develop and implement the annual training schedule for the company in accordance with company HSEMS Framework.
11. Develop the annual HSEMS audit plan and ensure it's being conducted in accordance with the Company/ADNOC HSE Standards.
12. Support in conducting incident investigations and review the report inline with Company/ADNOC HSE Standards.
13. Prepare trend analysis for all incident investigation reports and present them to management for the close-out action and further improvement/input to HSEMS framework.
14. Monitor all the safety-critical equipment maintained in accordance with annual maintenance plan/OEM recommendation such as Lifeboat, life raft, SCBA, Fire Extinguishers, etc.
15. Management of Contractor HSE such as developing procedures for Contractor Management, evaluating Contractor HSE performance, conducting HSE audits for Contractors, etc.
16. Develop procedures for risk management, recognition, risk evaluation and control, preparing drill plans and schedules for all emergency drills and exercises, and experience of directing Management of Change (MOC) reviews.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years relevant experience is required.
• Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas industry as a HSE Engineer.
• Preference for candidates who have experience in ADNOC group of companies.
