SENIOR HOSPITALITY ASSISTANT POSITION

NO EXECUTIVE/CORPORATE ASSISTANTS - THE CLIENT IS NOT LOOKING FOR THIS PROFILE.

About the Client

This position is based in Dubai, UAE. The client is a CEO of a large corporation in Dubai and is a High Net Worth Individual.

You would be his Senior Hospitality Assistant.

The Package:

This position is a LIVE in position, although you will be in a DEDICATED accommodation (apartment) and you will not be living within the property of the family. The family will cover the cost of your accommodation. You will be sharing the apartment with another female candidate; you will each have one bedroom. You will be sharing the kitchen and the living room.

There are many advantages in the work package such as:

  • Paid accommodation
  • Private medical health insurance (equally covered by your employer)
  • A car will be at your disposal or a private chauffeur
  • Flights to go to Dubai covered by the employer

Given that all these mentioned expenses will be covered by your employer, the package is very interesting.

The Project:

The family is looking for a Senior Hospitality Assistant with significant experience in Hospitality (Luxury Hotels, Resorts, Palaces, Chalets, etc.) and/or a background in Yachting, who is able to start to work reasonably soon depending on the recruitment process.

The client is NOT looking for an Executive Assistant or a Corporate Assistant (even though your skills would be perfectly transposable); he will only consider profiles with extensive experience in hospitality and who already have previous experience as Personal Assistant for private UHNWI / families.

This is a permanent contract. There will be a trial period (defined by the client during the interview), which could be up to 3 months.

You must have several years of experience working as a Personal Assistant for VIPs and be used to handling:

  • Flight arrangements
  • Bookings for hotels
  • Taking care of personal goods, especially while traveling with the Principal and registering those goods and items
  • Organizing private events such as dinners and parties
  • Having a great sense of service and table service
  • Traveling with the Principals and organizing all their luggage, including bookings for extra luggage and specific goods

You would be assisting the Principal in the capacity defined by the client and being in the scope of his operations based in Dubai, France, and other countries.

You will be traveling to:

  • Europe, mainly France (the client would prefer a candidate who already knows France, as he is passionate about it and travels there frequently)
  • USA
  • Japan

All initial interviews will be telephonic, and the final interviews will be organized in person directly in Dubai. The client pays for all the flights.

The client is looking for someone with significant experience working for VIPs, UHNWI, and private families as a Personal/Executive Assistant.

In order to apply for this position, you must take a LIVE IN position; the client will accommodate only you, but not your family. You will share the accommodation with another female candidate who is currently living there and working for the family in a similar position.

For this position, you will be in charge of:

  • Assisting the client while he is traveling. This position is an active Personal Assistant position.
  • You would be required to travel with the Principal as required.
  • Assisting the client with all his demands regarding the organization of his agenda
  • Taking care of booking flight tickets
  • Taking care of booking luggage
  • Taking care of booking hotel rooms
  • Preparing for the client's business meetings
  • Assisting the client when he needs to do shopping
  • Booking/making reservations for restaurants
  • Additional administrative tasks as defined by the client during the interview

Desired Profile:

You are:

  • A French native with a perfect level in French & English (writing, reading, listening, and speaking)
  • Coming from the Hospitality (Luxury Hotels, Chalets, Palaces, Resorts, etc.) and/or Yachting industry
  • Having significant successful experience working with VIPs, VVIPs, or private families in assisting & administrative settings; you must have 7 to 10 years of experience as a PA.
  • Having worked in an international purview from a wide perspective
  • Extremely reactive in conflict resolution and handling last-minute arrangements
  • A strong multitasker, detail-oriented, and result-oriented
  • Very well organized with the ability to deal with pressure and time constraints
  • Calm, pleasant, and discreet
  • Punctual, well-presented, and possessing good communication skills
  • Having knowledge in all kinds of services
  • Giving great importance to hygiene and safety procedures and rules
  • Working efficiently under operational pressure
  • Having a strong positive attitude and being a smiling person
  • Extremely flexible and understanding that working for VIPs requires flexibility
  • Having a strong sense of service
  • Very flexible, dynamic, and a multitasker
  • Hardworking and always available

Salary: EUR net/month (depending on profiles and experience)

(Salary could be paid in AED or in Euros if you wish).

Package:

  • Accommodation covered by the employer (apartment; you are not living in the owner's property)
  • Private health insurance covered by the employer
  • Minimum one flight per year to go back to visit your family or your country
  • Car at your disposal or chauffeur at your disposal
  • Visa covered by your employer
