The Senior Graphic Designer will be working under the direction of the Creative Director and Art Director creating stunning graphics that bring events to life, from large-scale walls and banners down to every last element, be it printed or digital. The Graphic Designer will ensure that the designs meet project objectives and sweetwater standards.
Participate in initial brainstorms and ideation and contribute through creative research and development of inspiration boards, mockups, etc.
Proactively identify executional approaches & techniques to capture and represent the project's creative narrative visually.
Through close collaboration with Creative and Art Directors, discover opportunities to amplify the character of a place, conveying the brand's identity in imaginative and compelling ways within venues and facilities.
Execute custom design elements for event collateral such as digital activations, stage backdrops, wall graphics, booth design, banners, signage, invites, registration sites, etc.
Create a strong story and cohesive visual style for each project that will guide the graphic development of individual elements forward.
Conceptualize and design 2D environmental graphics and dimensional exhibits, displays, and interior features.
Create environmental graphics branding & sponsorship and a diverse range of experiential projects.
Build final print-ready files and see elements through the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy, and image quality are met.
Assist in managing branding grids and work schedules to ensure all projects are delivered on time.
Work closely with the accounts and production teams to ensure designs are on target for clients' needs.
Qualifications:
An associates or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or a certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent) is preferred.
5 years of related work experience in an Experiential or Event agency with a killer portfolio.
Proven ability to visually depict accurate information and project concepts when developing graphics and creating presentations.
Technically competent in software such as 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe CS4, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, AfterEffects, and Microsoft.
