Senior Global Environmental Engineer

Job Description

Monitor facility operating and business plans to ensure alignment with environmental protection policies and standards. Identify deviations and develop solutions to environmental problems, mitigating environmental risks and improving compliance with company and governmental regulations. Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, review, and implement Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management programs, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
2. Conduct internal GHG assurance audits and support preparation for third-party audits.
3. Monitor solids and chemical disposals to ensure environmental protection in compliance with regulations.
4. Monitor air quality, wastewater management, water conservation, and waste management performance.
5. Establish environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with company policies and strategies.
6. Develop, review, and deploy facility environmental management systems in alignment with ISO 14001.
7. Develop and maintain environmental procedures and guidelines.
8. Conduct internal environmental performance benchmarking studies among oil and gas refineries.
