We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical Company's finance team in Dubai. This critical role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial analysis, strong leadership skills, and a background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
What You’ll be Doing
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead the development of the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
- Provide accurate and timely financial projections ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with operational plans.
Business Analysis and Decision Support:
- Perform in-depth analysis of business performance including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability metrics.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to regional and global stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring of business performance.
Strategic Partnering:
- Collaborate with business units to drive financial discipline and support strategic initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for operational efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and manage a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build strong working relationships across functions and regions to promote collaboration and data sharing.
Systems and Process Improvement:
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead implementation of new financial systems or upgrades, ensuring user adoption and integration.
- Leverage technology and automation to streamline reporting and analysis.
Who You Are
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
- Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience in FP&A or financial management roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a multinational organization.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations, pricing, and market access considerations is a plus.
- Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
