Senior Financial Director

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Oversight of all financial management activities, including business processes and administration.
2. Management of the accounting system and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
3. Preparation of monthly financial forecasts and analysis of revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
4. Review and analysis of financial reports, with a focus on optimizing profitability.
5. Processing payments and maintaining meticulous record-keeping systems.
6. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in quantitative analysis.
7. Effective management of multiple projects and adherence to confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA qualification is strongly preferred.
2. Minimum 10 years+ of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success at the senior level.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in the African market, particularly in navigating letters of credit.
4. Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
5. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
