Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the group. This role combines accounting expertise with a deep understanding of the specific financial dynamics of the division in terms of profitability analysis, forecasting, planning, and related stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes.
2. Prepare financial performance reports of actuals against budget & forecast.
3. Prepare presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
4. Identify and recommend strategies to improve financial performance and reduce costs.
5. Explore opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
6. Develop and maintain financial performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business operations.
7. Identify financial risks and recommend strategies for risk mitigation to safeguard the company's financial stability.

System Implementation:

1. Be a key lead in system implementation.

Commercial and Inventory Management:

1. Revenue analysis of sales data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.
2. Work closely with the commercial team to negotiate favorable margins and other income with suppliers.
3. Analyze financial data for new investment opportunities.
4. Provide financial guidance and support to operations.
5. Provide business partnership to the relevant stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience:

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting/Finance.
2. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA (preferred).
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably within the pharmaceutical distribution or healthcare sector in the UAE.
4. Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing profitability reports, financial performance reports, and cost optimization strategies.
5. Strong background in commercial finance, including revenue analysis, margin negotiation, and investment evaluation.
6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, commercial, and senior management stakeholders.
7. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools, including MS Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence software.
