Role Overview
The Senior Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving ClearGrid's financial strategy and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing financial operations, conducting in-depth analysis, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, the Senior Finance Manager will provide strategic insights to support decision-making, growth planning, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Analysis
- Oversee daily accounting operations ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and advanced financial models to support business strategy.
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Payroll & Operations Management
- Manage payroll processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor cash flow, operational budgets, and vendor payments.
- Collaborate with operations teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Provide leadership in strategic financial planning, forecasting, and business growth initiatives.
- Deliver actionable insights to guide the executive team in decision-making.
Investor Relations & Reporting
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for investors and stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication on key financial metrics and business performance.
- Support leadership in funding strategies and financial risk management.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and statutory requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within a fast-paced startup or technology-driven environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
