The Senior Executive Payroll Management will lead and manage payroll processes ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements, compliance with UAE labor laws, General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) requirements, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all companies within the group, ensuring accuracy, consistency, compliance and timely disbursement.
- Verify payroll inputs such as allowances, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and benefits, coordinating with HR and department heads.
- Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies promptly and effectively. Ensure accurate calculation and remittance of end-of-service benefits (EOSB) as per UAE labor law.
GPSSA Administration:
- Manage and process employee registrations, updates, and contributions for the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA).
- Reconcile GPSSA payments and ensure compliance with UAE pension laws and regulations.
- Liaise with GPSSA representatives to resolve issues and provide necessary documentation.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, tax regulations, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and employee data.
- Prepare detailed payroll reports, including financial summaries, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Support internal and external audits with payroll data and documentation.
System and Process Improvement:
- Work with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll systems and processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in UAE labor laws, including GPSSA regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and department heads to ensure alignment of payroll policies and procedures across the group.
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 3 years in a senior or similar role.
- Proven experience in handling GPSSA tasks and Arabic correspondence.
Required Skills:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in payroll software and systems, including ERP tools like Oracle, SAP, or similar. In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, GPSSA regulations, and end-of-service benefits.
Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and English, with strong translation skills.
Communication Skills: Effective communicator capable of preparing and presenting payroll information to various stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify payroll discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
