About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive - POMEC to join the Engineering Department in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the engineering functions.
• Ensuring that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the implementation of the Jumeirah Engineering Management System and the appointment of suitable competent personnel.
• Supervising and directing the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
• Observing activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures.
• Checking on completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met.
• Assisting in the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System), including the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems.
• Handling grievances, suggestions, and complaints by colleagues and recommending appropriate action to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.
• Submitting a comprehensive monthly report to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer on activities carried out for the month (if required).
• Requesting support and direction as needed.
• Familiarizing with and complying with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• UAE National as per government requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Good verbal and written English skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Flexibility with schedules and guests.
• Understanding of HVAC Systems and Electrical Systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings and project planning.
• Problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
