Senior Estimator Engineer – Electrical- Pre-Contracting

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator Engineer-Electrical to join a leading Company in Abu Dhabi-UAE

As a Sr. Estimation Senior, you will be responsible for the designing, modification, and estimation of BMS Systems. Study the technical documents for the project received from the contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coding of estimation algorithms in higher order computer languages
• In-depth knowledge on estimation & design of water-based systems like deluge systems, foam system, pre-action systems, fire alarm, public address, WLD, and VESDA systems as per NFPA standards/country norms.
• Generating BOQ and cost estimate for fire alarm, public address, WLD, and VESDA systems
• Preparation of technical submissions, cause & effect matrix as per consultant/client’s requirement, battery calculations, panel configurations
• Technical discussions with client/consultant for new/existing projects and for drawing approvals
• To develop and mentor the team to build competencies in the areas of fire detection
• Expertise in codes and standards such as BS 5839/EN/NFPA
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience working as a Senior Estimation -Electrical Engineer in the construction industry within UAE.
• Preferably an engineering degree or any related professional qualification in a similar field.
• Not mandatory but preferably individuals with an ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
