The Senior Power Electronics Engineer is a professional in the field of power electronics hardware development with a good understanding and experience in product development (high-frequency power conversion, analog power electronics, and embedded motion control), design, evaluation, testing, and reporting.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics, with a focus on the areas specified, is required. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential. A Master's degree or higher is preferable. Previous experience in engineering roles with a focus on power electronics, including design and development responsibilities is mandatory.
Proficiency in the design and development of high-frequency power conversion systems and motor drives is demonstrated. Expertise in the development of analog power products and embedded closed-loop systems is shown. Skills in modeling and simulation, using tools like PSPICE for both analog and digital circuits, are required. Knowledge and experience in EMC control, including PCB layout and grounding techniques, are necessary. The ability to function effectively as a member of design teams and to contribute to concept design discussions for power electronics subsystems is critical.
