Senior Engineer ICT

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Engineer ICT to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our Information and Communications Technology department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge ICT solutions that drive our organization's technological advancement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and implementation of complex networking solutions, including active equipment configuration (core switches, distribution switches, routers, and Wi-Fi systems).
2. Develop and oversee structured cabling designs for large-scale projects, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
3. Spearhead server and data center design initiatives, incorporating best practices and innovative technologies.
4. Ensure compliance with regional telecom and security codes/regulations in the UAE and broader Middle East region.
5. Design and implement advanced audio-visual systems, including acoustic studies and professional sound solutions.
6. Oversee the integration of low voltage systems, such as Fire Detection & Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Public Address/Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems.
7. Develop comprehensive building management system designs, including equipment schedules, specifications, I/O matrices, and sequence of operations.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ICT solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain the organization's competitive edge.
10. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. 10 years of progressive experience in ICT engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
3. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and solutions, including LAN/WAN design and implementation.
4. Proven expertise in structured cabling design and implementation (fiber optics, Cat6/6A/7).
5. Extensive experience in server and data center design, including cooling and power distribution systems.
6. In-depth understanding of UAE and Middle East telecom and security regulations.
7. Proficiency in audio-visual system design, preferably with relevant certifications.
8. Demonstrated experience in low voltage systems integration (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA).
9. Strong background in building management systems and smart building technologies.
10. Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
11. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
13. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
14. Experience working on ICT projects across the Middle East.
